3.2.2 on PTR

Рейтинг пробивания брони нерфят в патче 3.2.2. Если раньше он был апнут до 125%, теперь его понизят до 110%. Слишком круто, видите ли, ипошат милишники и ММ-ханты.

The nerf to armor pen in 3.2.2 is intentional. Compared to the recent buff where we increased the value of armor rating to 125%, this nerf would take it back down to 110%. While we are still evaluating the effects of this change in the 3.2.2 build, we did want to let you know of the possibility in case you were about to spend a lot on armor pen gems.

In fact, this was really the point. Several melee specs (and Marksman hunters) had begun to focus on armor pen at the expense of all other stats. Gear without armor pen was being passed over and gem sockets were increasingly being filled with just this one stat. While every spec has stats that are more valuable than others, this one felt like it was starting to trump everything. Not coincidentally, characters stacking lots of armor pen were starting to do more damage than their peers and more damage than we were comfortable with.

This change is largely for PvE reasons, though we won't cry at all if melee damage in PvP drops a little as a result.

We're letting you know now so that this doesn't feel like a stealth nerf, assuming it goes live. While you might disagree or be frustrated by the change (though I also suspect it won't come as a surprise to many players), we ask that you try and keep your response to something appropriate for these forums.

Frost Presence - Reduced damage by 8%. (Was 5%)

Blood
Heart Strike - Instantly strike the target and his/her nearest ally, causing 50% weapon damage plus 368, total damage increased by 10% for each of your diseases on the target to the primary target, and half that to the secondary target.
Subversion - Scourge Strike added.
Vampiric Blood - Cooldown reduced to 1 minute, duration reduced to 10 sec.

Frost
Threat of Thassarian - Rune Strike added.
Unbreakable Armor - Redesigned yet again. Cooldown reduced to 1 minute, now increases armor by 25% and strength by 10% for 20 sec.

Unholy
Bone Shield - Cooldown reduced to 1 minute.
Dirge - Obliterate removed.

Glyphs
Glyph of Scourge Strike - Redesigned. Now increases the duration of Blood Plague and Frost Fever on the target by 3 sec. each time Scourge Strike hits, up to a maximum of 9 seconds.
Glyph of Unbreakable Armor - Redesigned. Now increases the armor granted by Unbreakable Armor by 20%.
Glyph of Vampiric Blood - Now increases the duration of Vampiric Blood by 5 sec. (Was 10)

Druid

Glyphs
Glyph of Typhoon - Range increase reduced to 10 yards. (Was 20)

Hunter

Talents

Beastmastery
Bestial Wrath - Duration reduced to 10 seconds. (Was 18)
The Beast Within - Duration reduced to 10 seconds. Now also increases the damage you deal by 10% at all times and functions like a PvP trinket, removing all crowd control effects on you.

Mage

Talents

Fire
Combustion - Now also increases your Fire spell critical strike damage bonus by 50% while active.

Priest

Talents

Shadow
Improved Spirit Tap - Mind Flay critical strikes added at a 50% chance.
Twisted Faith - Increases your spell power by 4/8/12/16/20% of your Spirit. (Was 2/4/6/8/10%)

Rogue

Envenom - Damage increased by 2% per dose of Deadly Poison (10% damage increase at 5 doses).

Shaman

Flame Shock - DoT damage increased, duration increased to 18 sec. (Was 12)
Lava Burst - No longer consumes Flame Shock.

Talents

Enhancement
Earthen Power - Redesigned. No longer makes friendly targets immune to snares when Earthbind Totem pulses. Now also increases the attack speed slow of Earth Shock by 5%/10%.

Glyphs
Glyph of Flame Shock - Redesigned. Now allows the periodic damage of Flame Shock to critically strike.

Куда уж больше, БМ ханты итак нормально шпилят в пвп щас.

Ну вроде я смотрел не очень много БМов играет на арене. Сурвов больше - там контроля много, да и [Разрывной выстрел] рулит... Баф дамага - это для ПвЕ в первую очередь - там БМы сейчас вообще в загоне. В ПвП - неоднозначный баф. С одной стороны [Звериный гнев] теперь как вторая тринка будет, с другой - иммун к контролю вдвое короче...
